B. PHARM

The B.Pharmacy Course offered by this college is recognized by Pharmacy Council of India, approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Duration Of the Course:

The course of study for B.Pharm shall extend over a period of eight semesters (four academic years) and six semesters (three academic years) for lateral entry students. The curricula and syllabi for the program shall be prescribed from time to time by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.

Intake: 60 students

Medium of Instruction: Medium of Instruction and Examination Shall be English.

Attendance and Progress: A candidate is required to put in at least 80% attendance in theory and practical subjects separately in a recognized institution approved by Pharmacy council of India and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. The candidate shall complete prescribed course satisfactorily to be eligible to appear for the respective examination.

Examination: There shall be three sessional examinations conducted for both theory and practicals by the college for 30 Marks. The average marks of best two examinations for theory and practicals shall be computed separately. University shall conduct Final Examination for theory and practical for 70 Marks.

Indutrial Training : Industrial Training : After passing Fourth Year B. PHARM. Examination the student shall undergo compulsory industrial training of not less than 150 Hours over a period of one month at any Pharmaceutical Industry.

Results : Student shall secure a minimum of 50% marks to pass (which is also a second class), minimum of 60% marks for first class, and minimum of 75% marks for distinction.
